Shoegaze ist die Kunst des Dröhnens, doch „Everything Is Alive“ setzt diese Elemente nur sparsam ein. Statt Hall- und Zerr-Sounds aufzutürmen, schäumt die Musik in feinen Bläschen über.

A soothing escape to analog memories. Faded photographs of family trips to national parks. Road trips with friends. Meteor showers. Discovering the most eclectic flea market in a town you’ve never heard of. Music that winds like a mountain road. You pass through a dark tunnel. It rains here yet the sun shines on peaks strewn with wild flowers. A soundtrack to the better, more meaningful moments of your life. We Observe the Flame
My god, what an absolutely incredible Suite. I'll admit, I've struggled to get into Pharoah Sanders due to diving headfirst into some of his most challenging catalogue and that never worked. This is the perfect place to restart. Floating Points is new for me and I can honestly say I've never heard synthesizer music this lush and organic before. the LSO is just perfect. This is one of those albums that any serious music fan needs in their life. The perfect swan song for the great Pharaoh! 5/5 ClassyMusicSnob
